Tic Tac Cuteness! Lori Whitlock Silhouette File and super easy!

Hey guys!  Can you believe it is already December 5th?  HOLY MOLY!  Did any of you go out in the madness of Black Friday?  I did my shopping online and got great deals and did not have to be part of that crazy day or those mad shoppers!

Today I have some Snowman Tic Tac boxes for ya. How adorable are these?  The SVG file can be found in the silhouette store. There are super duper cute ones for Red and Green tic tacs as well. But I only have a small box of the white ones.  They did have multi packs at our local Costco, but they had orange and I don't want orange!

This is a Lori Whitlock design.  Please click on her name to see her blog and the fun stuff's she has (I know most of you are already familiar with her great designs and files)  I'm sure she has links to download the files.

These were super easy.  I just added a little bit of my own bling to cute it up a bit.  I used black gemstones for the eyes and buttons, a cute red bow for the tie (prepackaged, who can tie one that tiny?) and an orange marker for the nose.  I will tell you that you must prepare the tic tac box by scraping off most of the sticker on the front.  Don't be a goob like me tho, I scratched one of the boxes using my nail.  The other 2 boxes I used goo gone so they are nicer.  Notice in the photo the eyeballs are silly looking because of the way the tic tacs are laying in the back? I thought that was cute and wanted to point it out.

I've been super distracted all week because this cutie pie has been visiting with her mama all week.  Krys promised me she would help assemble stuff in the craft room - that has not happened.  She goes home in the morning and I'll play catch up.  In the meantime I figured if I showed you guys a photo of a super cute 8 month old you might show me some mercy LOL!

See ya tomorrow with some more holiday happy things!

Hugs and Happiness!

  2. WHERE are you??? Got to wondering about you and realized you had G-Babies, then it all made sense!
Hope all is well with your mom and all the girls/Princesses.

  3. Oh I do have the Explore and love it. However I still use my Expression and love it! Still use my Baby Cricut and still love it.
I'm a die hard Cricut gal since 2006 use 'em every day as I'm a die hard scrapper and use my cartridges all the time I use the Explore for anything I can't do on my Expression so it's the best of all worlds. The Explore is amazing I so not techy but have learned so much from Stacy Williams on You Tube and Melody Lane....etc. You are so going to love it. Welcome back to the Cricut World!!

Good luck to you and a speedy recovery!!

Kricut Krazy is back!

Hello everyone!

I've missed you all!  What a crazy summer it has been.  I just kept walking by my craft room and longing to sit down and do something fun.  I've dabbled in things over the summer but no real crafty fun day.  I've been cooking tons of stuff I find on pinterest (surprisingly most has been a huge hit!) I've tried my hand at washer jewelry - and failed (see photos below) but I'll keep trying.

I didn't realize my phone posted a video I took the other day until I started getting you tube comments and emails LOL So here ya go for those that haven't seen it:

Ok a coupla ya asked about the washer jewelry.  I wanted to make them for my daughters. Krystina's would have Ragan Lyn  on the large washer and 3/14/2013 on the small washer with a blue stone for March.  Amanda's would have Julianna Marie on the large washer and 7/3/2013 on the smaller one along with a red stone for July.  Sigh.  Why does everything look SO much better in my head than i…

Scrappin with my Bug Happy Birthday Blog Hop!

Hey Krazies!

My sweet friend Michelle from Scrappin with my Bug is having a birthday!  We're celebrating by gathering a bunch of fun ladies for a big blog hop that is going to run all weekend long. Lots of fun stuff to see along the way and prizes galore!  Be sure you stop at Michelles blog first to wish her a Happy Birthday!

My Project
Happy Birthday Michelle!
Front of the Gate fold card.  I used rub on dots for the top and bottom, 2 buttons to wrap the bakers twine around and cut the flowers from Walk in my garden.  The stamps are misc Birthday stamps and the paper is all DCWV various stacks.  I inked around the flowers with chalk ink (cats eye I think it's called)  Oh and the rub on dot borders are from Stamping Up.  I'm brand new with rubber stamps and will eventually learn how do do it correctly.
Inside of the card.  It's your Day is from Pink Cricut - one of her stamp sets.... sorry don't remember which. Paper is from DCWV and I inked a lil here and there.

You are going to LOVE this video. TRUST ME!

How do you store your 12x12 paper?  Do you like those Vertical folders from Cropper Hopper?  See that? 5.88.  I love them, but I needed 15 of them.  I have 5.  Well after putting my thinking cap on I came up with a way to do this for FREE.  and it takes 3 sheets of paper to decorate.  So watch the video then leave me a comment letting me know what you think.

At the end of the video is a contest for some blog candy - who wants a free cartridge?  I don't know what the cartridge is yet because my sponsor didn't tell me what they were sending - so we'll all be surprised YAAAY.

I love comments so please leave me some feedback!
