Hello my Krazies!

I know it's been a LONG time since I posted and for that I'm sorry. I promise to try and do better.  I've had the last 2 days off and I have played NON STOP in my craft room. Oh the fun I had!  I practiced with stamping, pro markers and my Teresa Collins Stamp maker.  I didn't make anything worthy of showing you but I do have 2 videos to share.  One is showing you a few new things such as my coozies and my Clip it up system which cost WAY less then the actual clip it up system.

In the above video I showed you a lil sneak peak at my Stamp Maker - in this video I show you what I made and how I made it.  There are a few photos to go with it but I need to get them off my cell phone and uploaded here - so please check back in the next few hours so you can see the video's and photos.

Stamps, Stencils and Embossing all with one machine - pretty nifty stuff!

Ok, so as you can see I did a stamp, a stencil and an embossing plate. Click on the photo to enlarge.  I think my rubber stamps will get better with practice, I'm not much of a stencil fan so I probably will never make another one and the embossing plate is a great idea if I ever need a small embossed image. However the embossing plate was very difficult to use in my cuttlebug. I had to actually lay it on top of an embossing folder and then between the spacers. Maybe I should get one of those thin spacers.  Anyway it did work as you can see.  All 3 of these took just minutes to do.  Give it a try and let me know how yours turn out!

  1. The clip it up system is such a great idea! And thanks for showing the stamp maker! It's great to see videos from you! :-)

  2. I can't wait to try to make stamps. Have you tried making any font stamps? I would get the whole stamp kit JUST to be able to make fonts! I'm assuming that they're photopolymer because of the light?

Thanks for showing us! LOVE it! :)

  3. I want to do name stamps but haven't had a chance to try it out. Software comes with the stamp maker for doing your own artwork, maybe I'll check it out later. Wouldn't that be fun?

  4. OMG! Thank you for showing this to us. I haven't gotten it because I thought it was way more complicated than this. Hmmm...may have to get one now:) You did a GREAT job showing us:)

  5. I love the covers for your machines and your scrap bag. Thanks for sharing your new goodies with us!

  6. looks like fun! this is on my wishlist too! glad to see your actually DOING something besides work!

  7. Hiya Tangee. Just stoppin' by to say "hi"!

Your covers and scrap bag are gorgeous! Love your clip it up, too. TFS! :-)

Kricut Krazy is back!

Hello everyone!

I've missed you all!  What a crazy summer it has been.  I just kept walking by my craft room and longing to sit down and do something fun.  I've dabbled in things over the summer but no real crafty fun day.  I've been cooking tons of stuff I find on pinterest (surprisingly most has been a huge hit!) I've tried my hand at washer jewelry - and failed (see photos below) but I'll keep trying.

I didn't realize my phone posted a video I took the other day until I started getting you tube comments and emails LOL So here ya go for those that haven't seen it:

Ok a coupla ya asked about the washer jewelry.  I wanted to make them for my daughters. Krystina's would have Ragan Lyn  on the large washer and 3/14/2013 on the small washer with a blue stone for March.  Amanda's would have Julianna Marie on the large washer and 7/3/2013 on the smaller one along with a red stone for July.  Sigh.  Why does everything look SO much better in my head than i…

Scrappin with my Bug Happy Birthday Blog Hop!

Hey Krazies!

My sweet friend Michelle from Scrappin with my Bug is having a birthday!  We're celebrating by gathering a bunch of fun ladies for a big blog hop that is going to run all weekend long. Lots of fun stuff to see along the way and prizes galore!  Be sure you stop at Michelles blog first to wish her a Happy Birthday!

My Project
Happy Birthday Michelle!
Front of the Gate fold card.  I used rub on dots for the top and bottom, 2 buttons to wrap the bakers twine around and cut the flowers from Walk in my garden.  The stamps are misc Birthday stamps and the paper is all DCWV various stacks.  I inked around the flowers with chalk ink (cats eye I think it's called)  Oh and the rub on dot borders are from Stamping Up.  I'm brand new with rubber stamps and will eventually learn how do do it correctly.
Inside of the card.  It's your Day is from Pink Cricut - one of her stamp sets.... sorry don't remember which. Paper is from DCWV and I inked a lil here and there.

You are going to LOVE this video. TRUST ME!

How do you store your 12x12 paper?  Do you like those Vertical folders from Cropper Hopper?  See that? 5.88.  I love them, but I needed 15 of them.  I have 5.  Well after putting my thinking cap on I came up with a way to do this for FREE.  and it takes 3 sheets of paper to decorate.  So watch the video then leave me a comment letting me know what you think.

At the end of the video is a contest for some blog candy - who wants a free cartridge?  I don't know what the cartridge is yet because my sponsor didn't tell me what they were sending - so we'll all be surprised YAAAY.

I love comments so please leave me some feedback!
