Card Request for Mom

Hi Krazies!

September 4 (Saturday) is my mothers 76th birthday.  I'd love if some of you can send her a card that you've created with "that machine thingy" mom calls the cricut.

I'll scan and  post any cards she receives here on the blog.  She loves Fairies, Angels and has collected dolls of all kinds for years.  She also enjoys her little chihuahua Charlie, plants, flowers and  'pretty' things.

Her name is Barbara Mckenrick and as most of you know she has Parkinson's and my husband and I take care of her so we all live together :)  25 Clara Circle, Glen Burnie MD 21060.

Thank you so much I look forward to seeing her excitement.   That's a pic of mom and Charli a few years ago when she broke her wrist. She'd kill me if she knew I uploaded it EEK! Shhh, our secret! :)

Coming later today will be 3 projects and a contest announcement and winner announcement.

Also, NINE packages going out in the mail tomorrow morning so those of you expecting prizes - they are signed and sealed and waiting to go to the post office :)  You Canadian winners are killin me LOL!  Hugs & Chirps!

  3. my card will be going in the mail tomorrow :) I must have been under God's guidance when I stoped by to read your blog tonight. I made a birthday card (for no apparent reason) this afternoon to play with my new xyron sticker machine and flocking. And now I know why I wanted to make this card.... Because your mom is very special and should really get a card from someone in Georgia!! (My mom is really my best friend!) Happy Birthday!!

Hello!

Hi everyone!

It's been almost 2 years since I posted... YIKES! It's been a little hectic on my end but I have been playing lately and hope tohave more posts.

I'm writing mainly because I noticed that the graphics on my blog has disappeared and I'm looking into why that has happened. I'm also looking into migrating to WordPress.

I've been making a lot of t-shirts lately and will post about them once everything is settled. For those of you that area actually still around - I appreciate it! I hope to bring a fresh new beginning to Kricut Krazy and become super active once again. I've missed you all dearly!

Hugs and Happiness!

Scoring with the Cricut Explore!

So, one of the cool new things is the ability to score and cut at the same time.  I'm finding myself needing the score ability quite frequently.  You should see me trying to hand score something - I'm never 100% accurate.... like ever.  So here is the handy dandy score tool by Cricut.

So Yesterday I needed to make about 50 treat bags for a staff party at work on Halloween.  The first couple of bags I scored by hand. Oh... bad idea. They were crooked.  So I'm eyeballing the score tool holder thingy.  I had ordered one via amazon but it wouldn't be in until the next day, Me? Wait? NAH!  So I'm looking around my tool drawer and I find this embosser I bought many moons ago to use with Brass Stencils.  I put it in and shut the clamp thingy and away we go!  Y'all!!!!!!!! It worked.  Holy cow it worked.  You can see the score mark below.  How exciting is that!?

Today I get home from work and my new score tool is waiting for me.  Except I left it in the package. For …
