I'm super excited! I've been working hard to revamp Kricut Krazy - not the look, but the content. I have tons of things in store for you in the coming weeks. I look forward to lots of feedback and you guys can look forward to Tutorials, Reviews of tools/supplies, Jewelry Making, Paper Crafting, Stamping (cause you all just LOVE when I get my hands all inky!) and if there is a video, there will be photos to go along with it for people who don't wish to hear me drone on and on about stuff. Yes, I know everyone loves my voice and my babbling... but you know, just in case :)
I leave you with my latest project. A cute little personalized bracelet for my friend Darlene who just had a birthday. This was SUPER easy. The little charms are 9mm flat round blanks I purchased on ebay. They are actually nickle plated but look like an antique gold in the photo. (I'm working on my photo taking skills...sigh) I simply stamped the initials on them with a metal stamping alphabet, then went over the impression with a black Sharpee Marker. I then dabbed a paper towel with Staz On Remover and wiped across the little blanks so you could only see the dark letters. D & S (Darlene & Steve) are on ONE link as they are the mom and dad, and their kids are on individual links. I also added the "Love" charm that I purchased from Fire Mountain Gems. The infinity link was purchased on ebay as well. I was so happy with out this turned out as was Darlene! Great gift for new Mom's or new Families.
These are the first bracelets I ever did. One for my niece, with her husbands initial and their son's initial. (They have another little one on the way and I will add that initial when we know his or her name) The other bracelet was for my daughter Amanda, her fiance Brandon and my grand daughter Julianna. I purchased the bracelets on etsy already made, but I didn't like the infinity link as it was a bit cheesy, so I replaced my own infinity links and tossed the ucky ones. What do you think? No video as I was nearly blind after closing those tiny links. No kidding, I actually got a headache because they are SO tiny.
Tomorrow I will show you a coupla vinyl projects I've been working on and later in the week we (as if there is more than just me) have some great Desk Organizers made with the Cameo! I am REALLY loving my Cameo but I gotta tell ya, still loving my Cricut. Thinking about selling the Pazzles and all the extra's I have with it (blades, pen holder, engraving tool, gem stuff, I think I own just about everything) I just find that I'm not using it as much as the Cameo and Cricut.
Want some blog candy? How about a couple of Cling Stamp sets from Michaels? I'll post photos of those later in the week. Here's what ya gotta do to get them:
1. Be a follower
2. Leave a message and answer the following questions:
a) How would you feel if I added a "Recipe Day" to the blog once a week or two?
b) What do you think of the jewelry posts?
c) which cutter do you use most often?
That's it :) I will draw a winner from the comments next Sunday and announce the winner on Mondays post.
I hope to have a giveaway once a week - altho they may be small. Who doesn't love free stuff?
Hugs and Happiness!
I think a recipe day would be good. Always looking for good recipes. Love the jewelry posts. I like to make jewelry. The cutter I use the most is cutterpede. I really like it.

So glad to have you back. You have been missed. I agree that an ocassional recipe day would be nice. I dabble some in jewelry making so yes I would like those also. And by the way, I love the videos. You make it fun and I'm always looking to see where the kitty will show up. Thanks for giving of your time.
ReplyDeleteI love checking out new recipes! Your jewelry is super cute :) I use a Making Memories trimmer that I used to love because it folds in half and I don't have space to keep a 12x12 trimmer out. However, it hasn't been cutting straight for me lately, so will have to break down and try something else. I hope everything is ok!
ReplyDeleteYour friend is going to love it. What a very thoughtful gift.
