3/4/11

March is here! (read the entire post to find a hidden contest!

Yeah!  I love March - There are several reasons.

#1  My birthday is the 8th and I LOVE birthdays cause that means PRESENTS and I LOVE presents!
#2  St. Patricks Day - I don't drink green beer (or any beer for that matter, I'm a foo foo drink girl)
#3  Spring is on it's way!

This year I have another reason to love March.  On March 11 a bunch of Cricut Circle Members along with Janna from Provo Craft are going to have a big ole crop party.  If you are in the Baltimore area come join us next weekend!  Check out the Cricut Circle Message board for more information would LOVE to see you there. While everyone else is doing scrapbook pages - I'm doing cards and stuffs. I hope to have lots of stuff to share with you guys.

Tammy has not posted in over a week because her baby is sick.  Jeremy has a nasty ear infection and Tammy didn't get sleep for 4 days!  He's on antibiotics now and already showing signs of improvement so hang in there - you will hear from her and see her fabulous creations in no time.

I have been working a lot and when I'm not working I'm at the Chiropractor trying to get my pelvis and neck back in a position where I'm not in pain all the time.

To my Krazy followers I thank you for your loyalty and patience and you will be rewarded - I promise.

To Teresa K the winner of the Cricut Cartridge I owe you a huge apology - hubby was supposed to mail you the cartridge and gypsy sleeve 2 weeks ago.  I thought it was already in your hands. Then today he said he found it under his front seat!  Seems that ONE package out of several he was mailing for me slipped under the seat and he didn't know it was there until today when he slammed on the breaks to avoid something and it came flying out from under the seat.  I'm going to guess the weight and just mail it from the house on Monday - I can print the postage right from here which is what I should have done to start with  UGGGG.  I'm so sorry.

To the rest of you Krazy's - leave a comment telling me what you think I should make at the upcoming crop.  I will randomly pick someone to win a goodie pack from the crop this weekend and to the person who's suggestion I actually use - you will win Best of Pixar cartridge (brand spankin new) and a goodie pack from the crop.

So what should I make?  Let me know and maybe you will be the winner!

hugs and chirps!

  2. Well you certainly have a lot of great reasons to love March! I'm right there with you on #3...soooooo ready for Spring!

I think that you should make a gift box with a matching card from the new Best of Pixar cartridge to share with us! Have a blast! Wish I was going cropping!

  3. Do you have the Disney classics cart? If you do, I say, make something with Bambi and friends. I am itching to get this cart so I can play with Bambi and Thumper!!

  4. You should make an all about you layout. Most of us scrappers never take the time to really scrapbook ourselves! Choose an up-to-date photo and either do some journaling or find a faorite song that fits you, etc. Then you can use it as wall art if you don't want to put it in a scrapbook.

Have fun at the crop! I'll be enjoying a quiet weekend in my craft room working on a 1st year album!

  10. If you have the paper lace cartridge, you should use it to make some cards. Also, if you have the Botanicals cartridge, make a card using it. I love that cartridge. Happy early Birthday.

  13. I have 2 suggestions, I think you should make a LO that would hold a pic of you and the others at the crop and then what about a simple card you could duplicate to send a copy of the picture to the others that are in that picture. Hope you have fun.

  17. Happy Birthday!!! Have a great time at the crop! How about making a layout that has hidden flaps/tags (hidden behind pics that you can pull out with journaling). I'm really trying to spend more time on my layouts so I'm always looking for inspiration! Thanks!

  22. Happy Birthday early!!! Great reasons to love March. I hope that Tammy gets caught up on her rest and her little one feels better soon, bless both of them.

I know that you will have tons of fun at the upcoming hop and look forward to seeing pictures! I have a couple of suggestions for things you can work on: 1) a Spring banner to hang in your craft space to honor the upcoming season and 2) Graduation cards because that season is closing in quick and many people need ideas on mass creating graduation cards.

Have lots of fun this month and I cannot wait to see what you decide to create.

  23. Happy Birthday to you! Hope you get lots of presents. Don't forget to make a wish! You should certainly make something spring related. Many of us have had a rough winter and are looking forward to spring and it's beautiful colors. It has been raining quite a bit here. You should do some fun cards with kids jumping in puddles with their boots and rain gear on. Or maybe some cute puddle duckies.
Enjoy your crop. Hugs, from Ohio!

  30. Happy Happy Birthday!! You could make a birthday layout or a mini album about the circle crop your attending. Pics of all the new friends you make and all the fun your sure to have. I'm really loving mini albums lately. Their quick and easy. You actually get to finish them and people will pick those up quicker to look at then a regular album. Ok, mini album it is! papermemories4u @ yahoo . com

  31. I think you should step out of your comfort zone. Use paper you would never choose for yourself, follow a sketch design you don't like, work with a subject you're not comfortable with, etc. Going to a crop is the perfect time to do this - you will be with paper crafters that will support you. I have been entering sketch contests at my favorite scrapboooking store for the past few months for this reason. I have hated it at times because it is HARD to do what someone else says you should do but I have learned a great deal from my fellows scrappers. I've even been able to inspire a few myself. Good luck - I look forward to seeing whichever design you decide upon :)

  32. I think you should do a 'year in review' mini. Make one page for each month so you could celebrate something special that has happened for the last 12 months. Hmmmm, I think I'm going to have to take my own idea. :) Have fun at the crop; and I hope you have a wonderful Birthday!! :)
