May 1st Art Nouveau Binder Project & BIG announcement

Hello my Krazies!

It's already May 5th!  Happy Cinco de Mayo!!  Here is what is going on for May 2012!  You will have 31 projects during the month - most will be posted daily, a few will share a day.  For instance, I will be posting 3 projects today about 6 hours apart.  At the end of May I will have 31 completed projects which YOU can win!  Yep, you can win this months projects which range from cards to layouts, 3d's and altered photo frames. Koolness right?

All you have to do is comment on each project ONCE.  At the end of the month, if you commented on all projects, you have 31 chances to win the entire loot.  If you commented 10 times, you have 10 chances.  There may be other chances to enter as well and clues will be left in posts and or videos.  Oh yeah, you gotta work for this treasure!

For this huge month long project my krazy krafting sistah Christie is helping me complete 31 cartridge projects WOOT!

Here we have May 1st project (yes I realize it's May 5th) and it's from the Art Nouveau binder.  I completed several projects as she was working on this. She had quite a bit of issues with the binder directions.  Sizes, cuts, etc.  But the finished piece is just gorgeous don't you think?

Check back later for post #2 and #3  (may 2nd and 3rd dontcha know)

Hugs and Chirps!

Kricut Krazy is back!

Hello everyone!

I've missed you all!  What a crazy summer it has been.  I just kept walking by my craft room and longing to sit down and do something fun.  I've dabbled in things over the summer but no real crafty fun day.  I've been cooking tons of stuff I find on pinterest (surprisingly most has been a huge hit!) I've tried my hand at washer jewelry - and failed (see photos below) but I'll keep trying.

I didn't realize my phone posted a video I took the other day until I started getting you tube comments and emails LOL So here ya go for those that haven't seen it:

Ok a coupla ya asked about the washer jewelry.  I wanted to make them for my daughters. Krystina's would have Ragan Lyn  on the large washer and 3/14/2013 on the small washer with a blue stone for March.  Amanda's would have Julianna Marie on the large washer and 7/3/2013 on the smaller one along with a red stone for July.  Sigh.  Why does everything look SO much better in my head than i…

Scrappin with my Bug Happy Birthday Blog Hop!

Hey Krazies!

My sweet friend Michelle from Scrappin with my Bug is having a birthday!  We're celebrating by gathering a bunch of fun ladies for a big blog hop that is going to run all weekend long. Lots of fun stuff to see along the way and prizes galore!  Be sure you stop at Michelles blog first to wish her a Happy Birthday!

My Project
Happy Birthday Michelle!
Front of the Gate fold card.  I used rub on dots for the top and bottom, 2 buttons to wrap the bakers twine around and cut the flowers from Walk in my garden.  The stamps are misc Birthday stamps and the paper is all DCWV various stacks.  I inked around the flowers with chalk ink (cats eye I think it's called)  Oh and the rub on dot borders are from Stamping Up.  I'm brand new with rubber stamps and will eventually learn how do do it correctly.
Inside of the card.  It's your Day is from Pink Cricut - one of her stamp sets.... sorry don't remember which. Paper is from DCWV and I inked a lil here and there.

You are going to LOVE this video. TRUST ME!

How do you store your 12x12 paper?  Do you like those Vertical folders from Cropper Hopper?  See that? 5.88.  I love them, but I needed 15 of them.  I have 5.  Well after putting my thinking cap on I came up with a way to do this for FREE.  and it takes 3 sheets of paper to decorate.  So watch the video then leave me a comment letting me know what you think.

At the end of the video is a contest for some blog candy - who wants a free cartridge?  I don't know what the cartridge is yet because my sponsor didn't tell me what they were sending - so we'll all be surprised YAAAY.

I love comments so please leave me some feedback!
