Vinyl projects Cups & Clipboards

 Hello Krazies!

Alas I could not share the Art Philosophy cartridge project with you today. I am having a wee bit of trouble with those roses but hopefull will get to it tomorrow.  I promised you a post today so here it goes.

Made these mugs for Mom and her Night Attendant Betty.  Mom loves fairy's and Betty loves birds. I just wish I knew where I got that shiney vinyl. Looks blue but it shimmers and I don't remember where it came from. They turned out cute though don'tcha think?

I have 3 girls at work who are my inspectors - they are awesome!  They were carrying around drab clipboards and one day Rolanda tied a ribbon on her's to pretty it up. So I decided to make them clipboards and matching mugs.  Rolanda LOVES peace signs - so that's what I did for her. There is a big peace sign on the back of the clipboard and also on the other side of the mug - I have no idea why I didn't take a photo of that.

This one is mine with the pokie dots!  Oh how I love my polka dots!

Toni loves elephants so this was done for her. Notice the graphic on the back of the board is the same graphic on the cup.  Martha loves flowers and pretties - so this is what I came up with for her.

The girls LOVED their surprises and I loved doing it for them.

The cups were purchased online from discountmugs.com  If you buy 24 of them it's 61 bucks (with shipping) so you are looking at 2.50 or so a cup.  If you order 12, it's 58 dollars LOL yeah, I'll take 12 extra for 3 more dollars please.

The clipboards are standard - I think I got them from office depo.  I used DCWV various stacks to decorate the front and back - the bottom borders are from whichever mat stack I used (like the groovy stack for the peace signs, etc)  I used spray adhesive - I just sprayed the clipboard and laid the paper on it then used a craft knife to cut around it.  Of course I used polka dot ribbon silly!  The vinyl..... hmmm...... I get vinyl from everywhere so there is no telling where it came from.  I used MTC and various SVG's (elephant, peace sign and flower) that I found via google.

I hope you enjoyed this post and will be posting again tomorrow.  There WILL be blog candy with the Art Philosophy project post so be sure to come back and leave a comment.  Who wants a fantabulous gift bag from the Circle Crop in February that is full of fun stuff?  If you do, make sure to come back and read all about the Art Philosophy Cartridge.

If you leave a comment here just for giggles - I'd appreciate it :)

Hugs and Chirps!
