hello my krazies!

Well heck - my two days off have FLOWN by.  I was able to play a little but no video or photos.I'm hoping to get something posted in a day or two. Yesterday I was lazy the first half of the day, the 2nd half I was fighting a migraine.  I get them VERY rarely and when I do I can't look at a monitor, tv screen or be in any light - it's brutal.  Today mom had a rough day so I was tending to her most of the day and then when she was feeling better I ran out to Costco.  Now I have to throw dinner together and hoping to play a lil after dinner when mom's night attendant arrives at 7.

I feel like I keep giving you guys excuses - I'm sorry.  I'll try to do better.

NEW SPONSOR - Today in the mail I got 3 cri-kit pen sets to play with and the makers of cri-kit are giving me a few to give away YAAAY!  Even better, they will ship to the winner so you don't have to wait a coons age to get your prize WOOT!

Two lil tidbits for you.   Black Friday - Walmart is going to have the cricut lite carts for 20 bucks and rumor has it there will be tons of new ones WOOT!  Also, my friend Crazy about Cricut (Jen) is going to host a Black Friday Hop - so check out her site for more info!

Hugs & Chirps!

  4. Tangee, you don't have to feel that you need to give us an explanation as to why you weren't able to do something. I know only too well, how "life gets in the way" of being able to do fun things.

Great that Cri-Kits is doing a give-away. Would love to win a set of those li'l gems!! Thanks for the chance! :-)

Kricut Krazy is back!

Hello everyone!

I've missed you all!  What a crazy summer it has been.  I just kept walking by my craft room and longing to sit down and do something fun.  I've dabbled in things over the summer but no real crafty fun day.  I've been cooking tons of stuff I find on pinterest (surprisingly most has been a huge hit!) I've tried my hand at washer jewelry - and failed (see photos below) but I'll keep trying.

I didn't realize my phone posted a video I took the other day until I started getting you tube comments and emails LOL So here ya go for those that haven't seen it:

Ok a coupla ya asked about the washer jewelry.  I wanted to make them for my daughters. Krystina's would have Ragan Lyn  on the large washer and 3/14/2013 on the small washer with a blue stone for March.  Amanda's would have Julianna Marie on the large washer and 7/3/2013 on the smaller one along with a red stone for July.  Sigh.  Why does everything look SO much better in my head than i…

Scrappin with my Bug Happy Birthday Blog Hop!

Hey Krazies!

My sweet friend Michelle from Scrappin with my Bug is having a birthday!  We're celebrating by gathering a bunch of fun ladies for a big blog hop that is going to run all weekend long. Lots of fun stuff to see along the way and prizes galore!  Be sure you stop at Michelles blog first to wish her a Happy Birthday!

My Project
Happy Birthday Michelle!
Front of the Gate fold card.  I used rub on dots for the top and bottom, 2 buttons to wrap the bakers twine around and cut the flowers from Walk in my garden.  The stamps are misc Birthday stamps and the paper is all DCWV various stacks.  I inked around the flowers with chalk ink (cats eye I think it's called)  Oh and the rub on dot borders are from Stamping Up.  I'm brand new with rubber stamps and will eventually learn how do do it correctly.
Inside of the card.  It's your Day is from Pink Cricut - one of her stamp sets.... sorry don't remember which. Paper is from DCWV and I inked a lil here and there.

 Ho…

You are going to LOVE this video. TRUST ME!

How do you store your 12x12 paper?  Do you like those Vertical folders from Cropper Hopper?  See that? 5.88.  I love them, but I needed 15 of them.  I have 5.  Well after putting my thinking cap on I came up with a way to do this for FREE.  and it takes 3 sheets of paper to decorate.  So watch the video then leave me a comment letting me know what you think.

At the end of the video is a contest for some blog candy - who wants a free cartridge?  I don't know what the cartridge is yet because my sponsor didn't tell me what they were sending - so we'll all be surprised YAAAY.

I love comments so please leave me some feedback!
